LFP Transportation Assistant
The Worcester County Department of Social Services has assessed a need for transportation to be offered as a supportive service to improve family functioning and well being of children who are at risk of entering an out of home placement. This service has been identified as a critical intervention component to assist parents in achieving goals that meet the basic needs of families and offers prevention of ongoing risk. The role of the Transportation Assistant is as follows:
LFP Transportation Assistant: The Transportation Assistant will provide scheduled and on-call transportation services of Worcester County DSS clients. The Assistant will work with the agency Services unit to provide transportation and support to assist in stabilizing the family and fulfill requirements of case service plan.
