Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: A reliable Maintenance Technician is needed to maintain a busy apartment community. Valid Driver’s License is a must. This employee will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks such as: plumbing, electrical and apartment turnovers. and repairing appliances is a must. Ceramic tile and laminate flooring experience is preferred. This is an “On Call” position. Please email salary requirements along with your resume.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducts the day-to day operations of the maintenance department*

• Use of carpentry skills, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and HVAC to complete tasks*

• Completes service requests, make readies and assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency*

• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner*

• Communicates and collaborates with office staff to provide updates regarding make readies and service request, etc.*

• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices*

• Trouble-shooting appliances*

• Performs other related duties as assigned*

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required*

• Experience in Maintenance required*

• Holds certificate in HVAC and at least 5 Years HVAC Experience*

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance*

• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed*

• Must be able to lift*

• Must have a valid driver’s license*

• Must have own hand tools*
