What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guardianship Benefits/Payee Associate position at Tri-County Community Action Program, Inc?

Role:
The primary responsibilities of this position is to research, secure, protect, and maintain all benefits that wards and clients are eligible for through State and Federal programs. This position will guarantee the management of all ward and client income and the payment of all ward and client financial obligations and needs and assist in the maintenance of all benefit levels to secure continued entitlements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
~Disburse resources from computerized system and through on0line banking that support our wards/client obligations and needs to their individual financial abilities by and through their maintained individual cash flow budgets.
~Gather and provide required information to protect Medicaid Eligibility of wards/ clients including, but not limited to, the completion of all redetermination Medicaid/Medicare forms.
~Calculate activity of the social security benefits received by the wards/clients for completion of annual and accurate Representative Payee Reports for the identified group assigned.
~Develop and maintain a working knowledge base on all benefit programs that our wards/clients are eligible for in coordination with the program director/designee and/or financial associates.
~posting of EFT deposit reports received from Bank of NH on a monthly basis into the network database system by client ledger.
~Maintain fully documented records by program protocols and procedures and maintain client and office files in an organized and retrievable manner.
~Develop a basic understanding of Guardianship laws and responsibilities.
~some with in the state travel may be necessary.
