- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised effectively
- Conduct product demos when appropriate to engage customers and promote new or featured items
- Assist with stocking shelves, inventory checks, and product placement to support store operations
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience stores
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
