Role Overview:
To ensure our youngest children have a solid foundation for life. To encourage the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children and to attend to their safety and welfare. To promote family engagement in all aspects of the program.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate of Arts/Science or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or closely related degree.
- Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- Prefer Iowa State Licensure (may be required for some positions)

No prior experience is necessary.
- Prefer experience in Head Start, daycare, or school setting.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & database systems
- Valid Iowa Driver's License & ability to be insured under agency policy
- Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
