The Director of Adult Education drives regional workforce development by aggressively expanding Tri-County Career Center’s adult education footprint through targeted marketing, community tours, and local business partnerships that secure student internships and career placements. In addition to managing core operations—such as staff supervision, budgeting, curriculum development, and ensuring absolute compliance with COE accreditation, IPEDS, and Clery reporting—this entrepreneurial leader spearheads high-visibility initiatives to increase adult enrollment, enhance student outcomes and opportunities, and aligning educational programming with the economic needs of the community.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree along with a valid Principal or appropriate Administrative Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education or the willingness to obtain such licensure. Strong preference will be given to individuals with a proven track record in educational administration, workforce education, and direct experience collaborating with local business and industry leaders. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication skills for community outreach, robust analytical abilities for budget and data management, and the capacity to solve practical, fast-moving variables within a career-technical training environment.
