Essential Responsibilities:
- Draft, revise, and maintain organizational policies and procedures to ensure clarity,
accuracy, and regulatory compliance. - Translate regulatory requirements into operational policies and workflows.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop new policies and revise existing ones based
on operational needs and regulatory changes. - Ensure all new and existing policies align with OPWDD, DOH, and any other relevant
regulatory bodies. - Ensure policy updates are communicated to all applicable departments
- Conduct regular reviews of policies to ensure they reflect current practices and regulatory
updates. - Maintain a centralized and organized policy library, ensuring all documents are updated,
version-controlled, and accessible. - Assist in audits, surveys, or quality reviews by preparing and providing relevant policy
documentation. - Stay informed of updated, modified, or newly issued regulations, standards, and codes from
OPWDD, DOH, and other governing agencies. - Takes lead and ownership of assigned tasks and special projects within the teams and assist
with coverage as needed. - Maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar to accurately reflect work-related meetings,
appointments, and availability. - Participation in internal meetings as needed.
- Any other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
