What are the responsibilities and job description for the Policy Coordinator position at TRI-COUNTY CARE LLC?

Essential Responsibilities:

  •  Draft, revise, and maintain organizational policies and procedures to ensure clarity, 
    accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  •  Translate regulatory requirements into operational policies and workflows.
  •  Collaborate with department managers to develop new policies and revise existing ones based 
    on operational needs and regulatory changes.
  •  Ensure all new and existing policies align with OPWDD, DOH, and any other relevant 
    regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure policy updates are communicated to all applicable departments
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies to ensure they reflect current practices and regulatory 
    updates.
  • Maintain a centralized and organized policy library, ensuring all documents are updated, 
    version-controlled, and accessible.
  • Assist in audits, surveys, or quality reviews by preparing and providing relevant policy 
    documentation.
  • Stay informed of updated, modified, or newly issued regulations, standards, and codes from 
    OPWDD, DOH, and other governing agencies.
  • Takes lead and ownership of assigned tasks and special projects within the teams and assist 
    with coverage as needed.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar to accurately reflect work-related meetings, 
    appointments, and availability.
  • Participation in internal meetings as needed.
  • Any other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
