What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer 3 position at Tri-Com Consulting Group?
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote)
Anticipated Duration: 1- year contract (extensions possible)
Scope of Services:
- Design and develop scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core Razor Pages in C#.
- Implement responsive and accessible UI components using HTML5, CSS3, and
- JavaScript.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards across all web interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and product managers to translate
- requirements into functional applications.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Expertise in ASP.NET Core development using Razor Pages.
- Proficiency in VB or C#, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools (e.g., ANDI, axe, Lighthouse, WAVE).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
