What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women's shelter support staff position at Tri-City Union Gospel Mission?
The Tri-City Union Gospel Mission began serving Benton and Franklin Counties over 65 years ago, providing Rescue, Recovery and Restoration services in the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities. We are looking for a compassionate Christian team member at our Women and Children's shelter. Training provided.
You will:
-Do intakes
-Follow shelter schedules and operational procedures
-Open/closing process of shelter
Job Requirements:
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word with the ability to learn new programs.
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions, resolve conflicts, and LISTEN.
- Ability to deal calmly in crisis situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to be flexible.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.75 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
