What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Tri-City Pediatric Cardiology?
Full Time Medical Assistant needed for a Medical Specialty Practice with offices in Johnson City and Kingsport. Applicant must be willing and able to work between both locations.
Our office operates 1 clinic monthly in Abingdon VA and 1 clinic monthly in Norton VA which MA's will alternate coverage at.
Employee will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, recording patient data including: vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication and reason for the visit, performing EKG's, scanning and maintaining medical records, calling in prescriptions, scheduling outside tests and referrals to other specialists. Applicant must have experience as Medical Assistant.
