Tri-City Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (EE) in Davenport, IA with industrial power system project experience. This position is responsible for estimating, designing, and executing industrial projects from proposal through commissioning.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design of industrial electrical power systems Previous experience with SKM Power Tools for Windows or Easy Power Software for short-circuit, load flow, coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis Thorough knowledge of NEC as applied to industrial electrical design Experience with specification of low-voltage (<1000V) and medium-voltage (up to 35kV) switchgear and associated control systemsExperience selecting and programming protective devices, including trip units and protective relays Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Revit for the development of electrical schematics and installation plans Preference for candidates with registration as a Professional Engineer. Additional preference for candidates with an NCEES records to facilitate licensure in additional states Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to travel out-of- town or overnight travel both in and, in rare cases, outside of the continental United States. Overnight travel is estimated at 10-15% (annually) and is subject to change.
