General Laborer – Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery cleaning, & Flood Extraction
Job Overview
Tri City Carpet Cleaning is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This position involves providing professional carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and water extraction services for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
No two jobs are exactly alike, so we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, work as part of a team, and take pride in leaving every property clean and presentable.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpet cleaning services using professional equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Clean upholstery, including couches, chairs, and other fabric-covered furniture.
- Assist with water and flood extraction to remove standing water and moisture from affected areas.
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain carpet cleaning and extraction equipment.
- Move and position equipment, hoses, and supplies at job sites.
- Assist with residential and commercial cleaning projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional general labor duties as needed.
Schedule : 28-35 hrs/wk
Must be available to work some Saturdays
Pay : $26/hr
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Comfortable working in residential and commercial properties.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, water extraction, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience operating truck/trailer a plus
