Automotive Mechanic – Tri-Cities Tire & Auto Repair
Location: Johnson City, TN
Tri-Cities Tire & Auto Repair is looking for a dependable, experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. If you take pride in quality work, enjoy diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and work well in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups
- Replace brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical components
- Mount, balance, and repair tires
- Perform alignments (experience preferred)
- Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
