We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to teach Veterinary Science and join our dynamic educational team. This position involves delivering engaging instruction, developing comprehensive curricula, and supporting students in mastering veterinary concepts. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of veterinary expertise, experience, and a commitment to student success. Responsibilities include: Develop and implement detailed veterinary science curricula aligned with industry standards and academic requirements. Deliver engaging classroom lessons covering animal physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and veterinary procedures. Facilitate hands-on laboratory sessions involving animal handling, restraint, and care techniques. Assess student progress through evaluations, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement. Stay current with veterinary advancements and integrate new knowledge into teaching materials. Support students’ practical skills development through supervision during animal care activities and clinical simulations. Qualifications include but not limited to: Proven experience in veterinary practice or related fields such as veterinary technician or veterinary critical care. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, veterinary terminology, and pet care practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Experience working with animals across various species. Knowledge of ethical issues, veterinary safety protocols, and recordkeeping. We can help you with the process to obtain a credential if you meet the qualifications. Must have industry experience in the field of Veterinary Science full or part time, paid or unpaid. Advanced industry certificate or vocational training may apply toward industry experience.
