Front Office Associate / Receptionist (Part-Time)
Local Driving School – Washington State
Overview
We are currently seeking a part-time Front Office Associate to join our team at a local driving school. This position serves as the welcoming face of our organization and plays a vital role in supporting daily operations related to driver training and driver license testing requirements in accordance with company policies and Washington State Department of Licensing regulations.
This role combines front desk reception, customer service, scheduling coordination, enrollment processing, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, service-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Job-specific training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Front Desk & Customer Service
- Greet customers entering the school, determine services needed, and direct them appropriately
- Answer multi-line phones, provide information, schedule appointments, and take messages
- Respond to email correspondence with potential and current students
- Deliver professional, courteous service to a diverse customer base
Enrollment & Testing Support
- Process student enrollments and manage all related documentation
- Verify applicant eligibility for state testing requirements
- Schedule class makeup sessions, drive appointments, and testing appointments
- Ensure compliance with company and state licensing policies
Administrative & Financial Tasks
- Process payment transactions and record receipts accurately
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate data entry records
- Perform general office duties as assigned
- Assist with calendar management and scheduling coordination
- Support bookkeeping and record-keeping functions as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State driver license
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Prefer at least 1 year of office or clerical experience
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish preferred but not required

Schedule
Must be available to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM.
