What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant & Parts Inventory Specialist position at Tri-C Appliance?
Do you love ordering items, receiving them, and then giving those goods to others? This might be the job for you! We are a small, family-owned and operated appliance repair business looking to hire a FULL-TIME team member, who can work on-location, order and track packages, receive parts, and keep the inventory stocked. This person will be working behind the scenes, being another vital component to advance the business each week.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to navigate multiple websites and communicate with various distributors and vendors when ordering parts.
- Receive incoming parts and/or appliances and match them to the appropriate work order card, scheduling them accordingly within our system.
- Talk to various claims departments when parts are damaged or missing on arrival.
- Audit back-ordered parts and partial shipments on work order cards and contacting customers with updates.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies
- Print daily schedules and highlighting important information
- Review work order cards on a daily basis, categorizing and separating them as needed.
- Follow-up on work order cards that need attention - part ordering, tech diagnosis, customer approval and/or confirmation
- Assist in answering the telephone in a professional manner and communicate appropriately
- Assist in handling customer inquiries and complaints
- Take information, and put detailed notes into our software system, book and board
- Assist in receiving payments
- Be involved in our bi-weekly team meetings that include a bible study, devotional and prayer time.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
