Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, experienced Orthopedic Practice Manager to oversee and grow a busy orthopedic and spine practice in Valley Stream, NY. This is a leadership role for a hands-on professional who understands the operational, financial, and regulatory complexities of orthopedic care in New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a multi-provider orthopedic practice
- Manage front desk, scheduling, billing, and clinical coordination teams
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize patient throughput and satisfaction
- Supervise revenue cycle management, including billing, collections, and denial management
- Ensure compliance with New York No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation regulations
- Handle pre-authorizations for procedures, imaging, and surgery
- Monitor KPIs (AR days, collections, scheduling efficiency, no-show rates)
- Recruit, train, and build a high-performing team
- Collaborate with physicians on growth and expansion strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years orthopedic practice management experience (required)
- Deep knowledge of NY No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation
- Strong experience with pre-authorizations, billing workflows, and scheduling systems
- Proven ability to build and lead a team independently
- Excellent organizational and operational leadership skills
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR and practice management platforms
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $95,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience and scope)
- Performance Bonus: $10,000 – $20,000 tied to collections, growth, and operational KPIs
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
