Centerless Grinder Operator, Milton Vt

Job Overview:

Tri-Angle Precision Reamers is seeking a Centerless Grinder Operator for our tool grinding shop. Tri-Angle is a tooling manufacturer in Milton VT that manufactures High Speed Steel Reamers for Aerospace, Defense and Commercial industries. The ideal candidate for this position would have had 2 or more years of previous experience as a centerless grinder operator in a job shop or tool grinding shop. This job is Full Time for 40 hours weekly or more. Some overtime may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate manual equipment including, but not limited to thru-feed centerless grinders.
• Consistently monitor part conformance/size and adjust manufacturing equipment accordingly to maintain quality requirements and production standards.
• Operate other equipment as needed.
• Communicate and work well with peers, inspectors, and supervisor.
• Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Qualifications/Skills Required:
• High school degree or equivalent educational experience.
• Manual dexterity and an eye for detail.
• Be proficient with typical measuring equipment such as micrometer and dial caliper.
• This is a physical job that requires long periods of standing and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• This job is for 40 hours weekly with some OT available occasionally.
• Normal shift is Mon-Fri., 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
