Job Overview: El Dorado Rubber & Gasket, a TRG company, is looking to add a dynamic and self-motivated Warehouse Customer Support staff to our growing team. The Warehouse Customer Support position is a cross-functional role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting warehouse operations, hose fabrication, inventory accuracy, and inside sales activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Inside Sales: Receive customer inquiries, prepare quotations, process orders in ERP, recommend hose, fittings, gaskets, belting and MRO products, support outside sales, resolve issues, and build customer relationships.
- Warehouse & Distribution: Receive shipments, pick, pack, stage and ship orders, maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, coordinate freight, operate forklifts, and maintain a safe warehouse.
- Hose Shop & Fabrication: Measure, cut, crimp, pressure test, inspect hose assemblies, fabricate gaskets and belting, operate fabrication equipment, and maintain quality standards.
- Inventory & Administration: Maintain ERP records, monitor inventory, coordinate special orders, prepare shipping documentation, and communicate with purchasing and vendors.
Technical Skills:
- Hydraulic and industrial hose knowledge
- Fittings, adapters, gaskets, conveyor belting and sealing products
- Reading tape measures and performing fraction/decimal conversions
- Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP systems
- Microsoft Office
- Mechanical aptitude and fabrication equipment

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 12 years in industrial distribution, warehouse, inside sales, or customer service
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Stand, bend, kneel and move throughout the workday
- Work safely in warehouse and fabrication environments
- Operate forklifts and fabrication equipment upon certification
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, occasional weekend call-out may be required. Pay is based on work experience.
