Are you a 1L or 2L law student looking to get out of the library and into the trenches of a fast-paced personal injury practice? Trey Harrell Law Office is looking for a motivated, energetic Summer Law Clerk to join our team in Charleston.

At our firm, "Trey Helps" isn’t just a tagline—it’s how we approach every auto accident case we handle. We believe in providing real-world experience, which means you won't just be fetching coffee; you’ll be an integral part of our legal team, helping us fight for our clients every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing This isn't your typical "sit behind a desk" clerkship. You will gain a comprehensive look at the practice of law in a small firm environment, including:

• Drafting: Gaining hands-on experience drafting demands and various legal pleadings.

• Case Analysis: Conducting detailed medical record reviews to help build our clients' cases.

• Legal Research: Diving deep into legal issues to support our litigation strategies.

• Courtroom & Discovery Experience: Assisting with and attending depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

• Small Firm Operations: Seeing firsthand what it takes to run a successful, client-focused law practice.

Who You Are

• A current 1L or 2L law student in good standing.
• Someone with an energetic "can-do" attitude who isn't afraid to ask questions and take initiative.
• A detail-oriented researcher and a clear, effective writer.
• Interested in personal injury law and helping people navigate the aftermath of auto accidents.
