Supervisor, Manufacturing
Weekend Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6A – 6:30PM
The hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory control, material handling, and inventory management, while also providing leadership and direction to the fabrication department. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient use of resources. The Manufacturing Supervisor also promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout all stages of production.
Duties & Responsibilities
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role in a similar industry, with at least 1-2 years in a lead role
Work Environment
This is primarily a shop floor role, requiring extended periods of standing and computer use. While the role is mainly shop floor operator-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing at a machine or at a desk at a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
- Monitor and manage the manufacturing process, ensuring production schedules, targets, and quality standards are met.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Promote and enforce safety guidelines and cultivate a culture of safety within the manufacturing team, including conducting safety meetings and addressing safety concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, optimizing production efficiency, and reducing waste.
- Train, mentor, and facilitate the professional development of production team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Coordinate with the materials management team to ensure sufficient materials and inventory for production needs.
- Identify and address production-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of production processes, output, and quality checks, and generate reports on production performance and KPIs for management.
- Familiar with fabrication, Lasers and sheet metal Brakes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Word.
- Familiarity with ERP Systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Ability to communicate with cross functional teams.
- Understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Effective troubleshooting and leadership skills.
- Excellent judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
