Trevino Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC is hiring an experienced Electrician to join our growing electrical division.
We are looking for someone who can confidently perform residential and light commercial service calls, troubleshoot electrical problems, communicate professionally with customers, and assist with new construction projects when needed.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants should have at least two years of verifiable electrical experience working for a licensed electrical contractor or electrical company.
Position Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical problems
- Perform electrical service calls independently
- Explain findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers
- Install and replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, breakers, panels, disconnects, and other electrical components
- Troubleshoot circuits, power loss, tripped breakers, shorts, and other electrical issues
- Perform electrical work for residential and commercial new construction
- Complete rough-in, top-out, trim-out, and final electrical work
- Read basic electrical plans, diagrams, and job specifications
- Follow the National Electrical Code, local codes, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate job notes, photos, material usage, and customer documentation
- Keep the assigned company vehicle, tools, and work area organized
- Work professionally around customers, builders, inspectors, and other trades
- Participate in ongoing technical, customer-service, and safety training
Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years of electrical experience with a licensed electrical company
- Experience performing electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, or new construction
- Valid Texas electrical apprentice, residential wireman, journeyman, or master electrician license
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to safely lift, carry, climb ladders, work in attics, and perform physical electrical work
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions, document work, and take responsibility for job results
Pay: $950.00 - $1,600.00 per week
