We have partnered with a leading Building Services company in the DC area, who are looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join their team.
You will lead a team responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support across equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with technical business leaders, facilities managers, and clients to forecast workload and deliverables.
- Plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the team’s daily activities to ensure effective service delivery.
- Resolve conflicting priorities and ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement improved methods to achieve departmental objectives.
- Coach team members and foster technical expertise across disciplines.
- Influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to operational standards, processes, and plans to support functional goals.
Requirements:
- First-Class Stationary Engineer license (DC 1st) required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and mathematical skills.
