Treves CTA in Corbin, KY, is looking for qualified candidates to carry out the effective & efficient production of manufactured parts utilizing materials and processes as instructed and at the required rate to meet the agreed production targets.
JOB DUTIES:
- Checks daily shipping schedule for shipping priorities
- Schedule work assignments to warehouse employees and/or crew leader
- Reviews lift truck check off reports to ensure trucks are in proper working order
- Writes work orders for repair of equipment and requests maintenance to make repairs
- Monitors the loading/unloading of all shipments on assigned shift and checks paperwork for accuracy
- Ensures handling, storage and preservation of finished goods
- Communicates and coordinates with the services department the correct and proper shipping of customer orders for timely arrival
- Cross trains in the computer operation of all shipping and billing functions
- Maintains a high standard of safety and good housekeeping in the warehouse department
- Supervisory Responsibilities include:
- Training employees
- Planning, assigning and directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding and disciplining employees
- Addressing complains and resolving problems
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required with two to three years’ previous shipping/logistics experience
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. The supervisor must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. The employee must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The employee must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successful, and individual should have above average computer skills with the knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
