Receiving Lead (1st Shift)

ABOUT THE ROLE 

· Coordinate off-loading, receipt, and put away of inbound goods using NetSuite WMS. 

· Facilitate inventory accuracy via cycle counting. 

· Direct the receiving team on daily tasks such as assisting with item receipt, replenishing bins of raw materials in line with production workflow, etc. 

· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. 

· Perform a daily out of stock (OOS) report. 

· Inspect deliveries to ensure cases/units match to packing slip and purchase order. 

· Escalate shipments that are delivered incorrectly, do not match paperwork, or are obviously damaged. 

· Clearly label received units and put away in appropriate bins/racks. 

· Maintain records of orders, delivery details, etc. 

· Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any necessary paperwork. 

· Processing returns for donation or recycling. 

· Assist with additional tasks as needed. 

· Monitor and maintain inventory integrity at all steps of production, from receipt onward. 

Special Skills, Experience or Qualifications: 

· Forklift certification required, experience with a stand-up model preferred. 

· Prior inventory and/or receiving experience. 

· Experience with NetSuite or a comparable digital WMS preferred. 

· Basic computer skills, fluency in usage of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.  

· Ability to work well in a team environment and lead by example. 

· Be self-driven, eager to learn and grow, and have strong attention to detail. 

· Have knowledge of preparing pallets for storage and shipping 

· Regularly lift boxes up to 50 lbs. 

· Be punctual, dependable, and have reliable transportation.  

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

· On occasion, be flexible regarding shift hours and/or days.
