What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser - Sales and Marketing Team Member position at Treu House of Munch, Inc.?
As a Merchandiser, you will drive brand awareness and consumer demand by executing in-store promotions, merchandising programs, and special events across both on-premise and off-premise accounts. You will play a key role in activating our marketing initiatives, building strong retailer relationships, and enhancing the visibility of our brands, including leveraging social media and digital marketing tools to amplify reach. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for a creative, relationship-oriented professional passionate about brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute in-store displays, promotions, and marketing programs in line with brand strategy
- Build impactful, visually engaging product displays and assist with cooler sets
- Ensure product freshness, shelf placement, and point-of-sale (P.O.S.) materials are maintained
- Act as a brand ambassador during events, tastings, and marketing activations
- Foster strong relationships with store owners, bartenders, servers, and other key influencers
- Provide comprehensive backup and support to Sales Representatives across all sales functions and responsibilities. Assist in account-level sales strategies. Help ensure product placement, promotional materials, and displays are aligned with the rep’s plans. Maintain communication with assigned Sales Representative to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
- Monitor and report competitor activity and market trends
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including expense reports and itineraries
- Attend sales meetings and training seminars regularly
Experience:
- Previous experience in the beer, beverage, or consumer goods industry preferred
- Background in sales, marketing, or merchandising is a strong plus
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for effective merchandising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld sales tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret product codes and shelf-life indicators (training provided)
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage a dynamic schedule

- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing (eligible for company vehicle insurance)
