What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Line Operator position at Treston IAC LLC?
SUMMARY
Directs activities of the powder coating paint line, maintains a constant work flow and tends to the maintenance needs of the parts washer and the equipment around it.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads and at times unloads parts onto and off of the powder conveyor system. Organizes the types and colors of parts to optimize the efficiencies of the power coating operations.
Works closely with the production supervisor and parts pull personnel to make sure there are parts staged for powder coating at all times, and that parts are hung on the conveyor properly and safely.
Responsible for ensuring that the washer equipment is running efficiently and without maintenance issues. Ensure that the cleaning solution mixtures are correct. Makes sure all cleaning liquids are handled and stored properly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and production reports. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak and read in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
