What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office and People Operations Manager position at Trestle?
Trestle is growing quickly, and we’re looking for an Office & People Operations Manager to help us scale our team, culture, and operations. This role sits at the heart of the company. You'll support our people, keep our office running smoothly, drive team rituals, and take on strategic projects that help our founders and leadership team move faster and more efficiently.
This is an ideal position for someone who loves operations, cares deeply about creating a great team environment, and is excited to grow into broader responsibilities over time.
- Be a visible, trusted representative of Trestle—someone the team enjoys interacting with.
- Coordinate in-office rhythms and team events: weekly routines, quarterly meetings, business reviews, offsites (U.S. and India).
- Ensure smooth day-one onboarding experiences.
- Uphold and reinforce Trestle’s company values across programs and processes.
- Track team sentiment and help reinforce Trestle’s positive, high-trust culture.
- Own day-to-day office operations: facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and basic IT troubleshooting (WiFi, conference room tech).
- Manage space expansion, office layout, and equipment standards.
- Manage employee equipment, swag programs, and office purchasing.
- Keep the Bellevue office running as a highly productive, welcoming workspace.
- Own benefits administration, insurance coordination, and employee records.
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, including systems access and workflows.
- Support our India team through Deel (compliance and day-to-day coordination).
- Run full-cycle recruiting for U.S. roles: manage the ATS, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and partner with leadership on hiring plans.
- Support vendor relationships and assist with contract reviews.
- Prepare materials for all hands, board meetings, and leadership reviews.
- Assist the founders with calendar management and prioritization.
- Own small research or execution projects (e.g., evaluating technology vendors, benefits providers).
- 5–7 years in office management, people operations, operations, or similar roles.
- Experience in recruiting: candidate screening, ATS systems (Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter), coordinating interviews.
- Comfortable managing multiple workflows and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Trusted with sensitive information and can handle confidential HR and company matters with discretion.
- A detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with great communication skills.
- Comfortable with light technical troubleshooting (conference room setups, basic IT).
- Curious and strategic—you enjoy learning the “why,” not just executing the “what.”
- An operations lead at a 20–100 person startup ready for more ownership.
- A high-performing Office Manager or People Ops specialist who’s outgrown their current role. A former Chief of Staff who wants hands-on operational work; not just strategy.
This in-office, full-time role offers a salary range of $90,000-$110,000, plus equity. We also provide comprehensive medical benefits.
- Real ownership from day one. You’ll shape the culture and operations of a highly collaborative, inclusive, and fast-growing company.
- Learn from experienced operators. You’ll work directly with founders and leadership on high-visibility projects.
- Grow with the company. As Trestle expands, so will your role—this is a true career-building opportunity.
- Work on infrastructure that matters. Trestle’s APIs handle 2B queries annually for customers across lead generation, real estate, fraud prevention, and more. You’ll build the team and operations behind that infrastructure.
