This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN, for a Product/Mechanical Design Engineer. The role involves designing and developing innovative aquatic systems, including Movable Pool Floors and Smart Pools, using advanced mechanical engineering principles. Key responsibilities include creating detailed product designs, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, optimizing mechanical components, ensuring structural compatibility, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions. The engineer will play a critical role in contributing to sustainable, safety-focused, and high-performance designs.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design for mechanical systems and components
- Experience in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering for developing functional and innovative products
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for designing and analyzing complex systems
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing methods, and structural analysis
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and ensure precise project execution
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
- Experience in the aquatic systems, architectural integration, or related industry is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
