If you enjoy hands-on work, operating specialized equipment, and making a visible impact every day—this role is for you!
🔧 What You’ll Do
As a Floor Care Technician, you’ll be the expert behind the shine. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining a variety of floor surfaces (tile, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and more)
- Stripping, waxing, buffing, sealing, and burnishing floors
- Operating equipment like auto scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Shampooing carpets and tackling tough stains
- Sweeping, mopping, and keeping baseboards spotless
- Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Inspecting floors for wear, damage, or hazards
- Setting up safety signage to protect staff and visitors
- Maintaining equipment and following all safety protocols (OSHA, SDS, etc.)
- Taking on special assignments and working independently or with a team
💡 Flexibility is key—some projects may require evening or weekend work.
🎓 What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of custodial and floor care experience
- Valid Driver’s License (driving required)
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

- Office of Inspector General (OIG) Clearance
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
- General Background Check
