Tres LA Group, one of Los Angeles’ most respected hospitality companies, is launching a new restaurant concept in the iconic Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Tres LA Bistro & Café will offer elevated service, chef-driven food, and a polished yet welcoming dining experience. We are building a dedicated opening team and looking for Service Assistants who take pride in teamwork, timing, and delivering a seamless guest experience.
About the Role
As a Service Assistant, you are essential to the efficiency and flow of the dining room. You will support servers, deliver food with care, maintain spotless tables and service areas, and ensure that guests enjoy a smooth and delightful visit from start to finish. You help bring hospitality to life through quick thinking, attention to detail, and a positive team-first attitude.
What You’ll Do
- Reset tables quickly and properly to prepare for the next guests
- Deliver food and beverages to tables with accuracy and polished presentation
- Refill beverages and anticipate guest needs throughout their meal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across dining and service areas
- Keep the expo line stocked, clean, and operating smoothly
- Handle glassware, flatware, trays, and plates with care and professionalism
- Clear tables between courses and after dining to support guest comfort
- Assist with sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general upkeep as needed
- Communicate consistently with servers, runners, kitchen staff, and management
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Step in to support teammates and maintain efficiency during high-volume moments
- Attend staff meetings and contribute positively to team success
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Guest-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a calm, positive mindset
- A collaborative spirit with pride in teamwork and service excellence
- California Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during a full shift
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability
