Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Sewer with expertise in engraving and sewing leather patches on hats. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in both leather engraving and sewing, ensuring each product meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and sew engraved leather patches onto various hat styles with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate engraving and sewing machines, ensuring proper setup and maintenance.
- Operate engraving machines to inscribe designs or text on leather materials.
- Inspect leather patches and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, keeping tools and materials properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the engraving or sewing process.
- Assist in developing new designs and techniques for leather patch engraving and application.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engraving and sewing leather patches on hats or similar items.
- Proficiency in operating engraving machines and sewing machines used for leather.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
