Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. Duties
- Provide attentive care for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, encouraging positive behavior and social interactions among children.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive daycare program that meets the needs of all children in care.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Familiarity with first aid practices; certification preferred.
- Experience in special education or working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to engage effectively with toddlers and infants, providing nurturing care tailored to their developmental stages.
- Background in caregiving, nannying, babysitting, or similar roles is beneficial.

- Must be flexible and willing to work with various age groups.
- Must be willing to work 9 am - 6pm
- Maintaining a clean environment in the classroom
- Ensuring a safe and hazard free environment in the classroom and on the playground
- Must be able to lift children onto changing tables for diaper changes
- Must be willing to potty train
- Ensure each child's daily sheet is accurately filled out
- Maintain clear and friendly communication with parents
- Must be able to collaborate with other teachers
Requirements:
- Must have the 40 DCF hours completed that are required by the state
- CPR/First Aid certified; or willing to obtain
- Must be able to complete and pass a background check
- Must complete annual in service hours as required by the state for licensure
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
