Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children while promoting their development through engaging activities and structured routines.

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, encouraging positive behavior and social interactions among children.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive daycare program that meets the needs of all children in care.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
• Familiarity with first aid practices; certification preferred.
• Experience in special education or working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Ability to engage effectively with toddlers and infants, providing nurturing care tailored to their developmental stages.
• Background in caregiving, nannying, babysitting, or similar roles is beneficial.

• Must be flexible and willing to work with various age groups.
• Must be willing to work 9 am - 6pm
• Maintaining a clean environment in the classroom
• Ensuring a safe and hazard free environment in the classroom and on the playground
• Must be able to lift children onto changing tables for diaper changes
• Must be willing to potty train
• Ensure each child's daily sheet is accurately filled out
• Maintain clear and friendly communication with parents
• Must be able to collaborate with other teachers

Requirements:

• Must have the 40 DCF hours completed that are required by the state
• CPR/First Aid certified; or willing to obtain
• Must be able to complete and pass a background check
• Must complete annual in service hours as required by the state for licensure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
