What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Apprentices & Installers position at Trent Heating and Air?
Overview
We are willing to train a candidate that is committed to joining the HVAC industry. Individual desired will have some construction experience, simple personal hand tools, willing to work in tight spaces, from heights and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and longevity.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Plumb new systems or modify existing plumbing for HVAC installations.
- Conduct appliance repairs related to heating and cooling systems.
- Build and assemble HVAC components as needed for specific projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient in plumbing techniques related to HVAC installations.
- Familiarity with appliance repair related to heating and cooling systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology are advantageous.
