We’re Hiring: Fractional CTO / Technical Director (Part-Time)

About Trenith
Trenith LLC is a South Florida-based software and AI company building Trenith AI, a revenue intelligence platform designed for SaaS founders. Our platform helps startups gain clarity on MRR, churn, cohort performance, and growth through automated Stripe integrations and AI-driven insights. We also deliver premium software engineering solutions across mobile apps, CRM systems, and AI modules.
The Role
We are looking for a senior technical leader to join us as a Fractional CTO / Technical Director on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight across AI, cloud, and full-stack engineering initiatives, while mentoring the founding team and shaping the product’s technical direction.
Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Compensation: $500–$1,500/month (W-2)
Your Role
• Provide technical oversight across AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack projects
• Review system architecture, code quality, and engineering decisions
• Mentor the engineering team on best practices (distributed systems, cloud, data pipelines)
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and offer structured guidance
• Exercise hiring authority as a technical supervisor
• Participate in monthly or bi-weekly check-ins (1–2 hours)
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field
• 5 years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, AI/ML, or data engineering
• Proven leadership experience (CTO, VP Engineering, Director, Staff Engineer, or equivalent)
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Experience with one or more of: AWS/GCP, Node.js, React/Next.js, Python, Stripe APIs, Firebase, LLM/RAG architectures
What This Role Is NOT
• Not a full-time position (max 5–10 hours/month)
• Not a hands-on coding role, this is a strategic leadership position
• No personal liability for business operations
• No financial investment required
