TRENDnet, a leading networking products manufacturer, is hiring an Inside Reseller Account Manager to join our corporate team at our HQ in Torrance, CA.
Job Description
We are looking for the special blend of a network technologies sales person who wants to grow into a backup Salesforce admin role.
The Reseller Account Manager is a team player that is responsible for driving revenue growth through our Resellers, handling backup Salesforce Admin activities, and providing support for our distribution channels and field sales teams. Specific goals include increasing partner participation in our program, identifying project-based opportunities and managing them on a quarterly basis to boost revenue. Additionally, participating in weekly and monthly meetings, and a small amount travel is required. We seek someone with strong communication skills, relationship building, and excellent follow-through.
General sales activities include answering product inquiries via phone, email, and chat; proactively reaching out to develop tradeshow leads and possibly some limited travel; and expanding existing sales opportunities with resellers. We are looking for someone with the ability to discuss networking products, identify opportunities, provide quotes, generate deal registrations, while working within a multi-tiered distribution process. This position requires daily use of Salesforce. Previous experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is essential. Salesforce Admin experience is a plus but not required.
This is a full-time in-office position, and the selected candidate is expected to work in our Torrance office 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, though a small amount of travel is required. TRENDnet offers a standard benefits package and a generous PTO plan that begins after 6 months of employment.

- Proficient in prospecting and lead generation
- Experience selling to resellers, dealers, and value-added resellers (VAR)
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Experience with online meeting software like Teams or Zoom
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Excel a plus
- Familiarity with Boolean Logic a plus
- Some limited travel is required.
