Role Description
Trendline Labs is seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern with a passion for sports, sports betting, and content creation. In this role, you will create daily content across TikTok, Instagram, and X (Twitter), helping us grow our audience and build Trendline Labs into a leading voice in sports analytics.
This internship offers hands-on experience working directly with founders, shaping our content strategy, and building the brand. Strong performance in this role may lead to a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Create daily short-form content covering major sports:
- NFL, NBA, NHL, Soccer, College Football, College Basketball
- Ideate and produce videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram, and X
- Edit sports highlight videos, betting content, explainer clips, and trend breakdowns
- Design graphics using Canva or Figma
- Monitor sports news, betting trends, and storylines to inspire content
- Stay on top of viral formats, trending audio, and effective engagement tactics
- Track basic analytics and optimize content for growth
- Collaborate directly with founders on strategy, messaging, and creative direction
Qualifications
- Any age welcome — skill and passion matter most
- Strong sports fan with daily knowledge of major leagues
- Understanding of sports betting, odds, terminology, and market trends
- Comfortable editing short-form videos (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- Experience with Canva or Figma for graphic design
- Creative, reliable, and excited to experiment with new content ideas
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and X trends, formats, and best practices
Compensation & Opportunity
- $500/month stipend
