PlumbX is a licensed mechanical contractor based in North Charleston, SC, serving commercial and residential customers across the Charleston metro area. We handle everything from general plumbing repair and medical gas to trenchless sewer lining and emergency response. With 15 employees and a reputation built on reliability, we move fast and take our work seriously.
About the role
A year from now, you'll be the person our technicians count on to set up their day and the voice our customers trust when they need help fast. You'll own the dispatch board in ServiceTitan, keep jobs moving without gaps, and make sure the right tech gets to the right job — on time, with the right information.
What you'll do
- Manage the ServiceTitan dispatch board daily — scheduling, routing, and adjusting jobs as priorities shift
- Answer inbound service calls and accurately capture job details, customer information, and urgency level
- Assign jobs to field technicians based on location, skillset, and availability
- Follow up with customers on job status, ETAs, and scheduling changes
- Coordinate with techs in the field to resolve scheduling conflicts and parts needs
- Support after-hours on-call coverage on a rotating basis
- Keep job records, notes, and statuses current in ServiceTitan in real time
Required
- Hands-on experience with ServiceTitan — you know the platform and can hit the ground running
- Background in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical — you understand the work our techs are doing in the field
- Previous dispatching or scheduling experience in a trades or field service environment
- Strong communicator — clear, calm, and professional under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in real time
Preferred
- Experience supporting a multi-tech service team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation
$20–$24 per hour, commensurate with experience. Full-time, on-site in North Charleston, SC.
