HSP US is rapidly expanding as we establish a world-class manufacturing and operations hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. As we scale, we are hiring a Procurement Manager to drive procurement excellence supporting the production of high-voltage bushings.

This is a rare opportunity to join a once-in-a-generation startup operation backed by more than 100 years of global innovation. You will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, supplier performance, and cost optimization for materials directly supporting grid reliability and electrical infrastructure.

What Are We Looking For!

• Own and lead both tactical execution and strategic direction of procurement, while overseeing large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation initiatives to drive standardization, efficiency, and scalability
• Lead purchasing activities for resins, machined components, and engineered parts used in bushing production
• Execute sourcing and procurement strategies to ensure material availability, cost control, and supplier reliability
• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers capable of meeting technical, quality, and delivery requirements for high-voltage applications
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on:
• On-time delivery (OTD)
• Quality performance
• Cost competitiveness
• Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and structured reviews
• Lead supplier issue resolution, including corrective actions and escalation management
• Drive continuous improvement across supplier base to improve lead times, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment on material requirements and specifications
• Manage procurement execution and data integrity within SAP S/4HANA, including:
• Purchase order creation and management
• Supplier master setup and governance
• Source list and contract management
• MRP alignment and inventory coordination
• Utilize advanced Excel analytics to support:
• Spend analysis
• Supplier performance tracking
• Forecast validation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies, and audit requirements
  
  
  

What You Will Bring!

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) 7–10 years of progressive procurement experience, including both tactical execution and strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end procurement functions, with accountability for cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance
• Advanced, hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA (REQUIRED), including deep knowledge of:
• Materials Management (MM)
• Purchasing and Supplier Management
• MRP planning and integration
• Vendor master data and governance
• Proven experience leading or supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, or system optimizations
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and ability to improve workflows through system and process enhancements
• Experience managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management programs using KPIs and scorecards
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth or greenfield environment, building processes from the ground up
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel capabilities (spend analysis, forecasting, reporting)
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and engineered materials
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Hands-on, execution-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and daily operational demands
