Part Time In Home Autism Instructor--Talbot Co

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! IMMEDIATE OPENING IN EASTON--TALBOT CO!

As a Trellis autism instructor, you will work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis

Position Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• The ability to pass a State/Federal background check.
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance
• Minimum of 100 hours of working/volunteer or personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
  
  
  

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
