The IS Manager, Digital Solutions and Manufacturing Systems is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital solutions and manufacturing systems across the Americas region. This role drives digital transformation initiatives, ensures the integration and optimization of MES, ERP, and other manufacturing platforms, and partners with business and IS stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that enhance operational excellence and support business growth.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of manufacturing and digital solutions (MES, ERP, PLM, IoT, AI/analytics platforms).
- Define system requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle management in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and support to digital solutions and manufacturing systems teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for solution delivery and support.
- Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate training and change management for new technologies and processes.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts related to manufacturing systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for digital and manufacturing systems initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of experience in IT/digital solutions management, with at least 3 years in manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, PLM, IoT).
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation and manufacturing systems projects.
- Experience with system integration, automation, and data analytics in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA) and regulatory compliance.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum) is a plus.
- Strategic leadership and vision for digital and manufacturing systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in process documentation, modeling, and reengineering (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Vendor and stakeholder management.
- High level of self-motivation and organizational skills.
