Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a production team, ensuring they meet production targets and quality standards.
- Resource Allocation: Assign tasks and resources to workers, ensuring that equipment, materials and personnel are used effectively.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control processes to maintain product quality and compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
- Training and Development: Train new employees, provide guidance and facilitate employee development.
- Production Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to meet demand.
- Problem-Solving: Address production issues, equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Reporting: Maintain production records, track key performance indicators (KPI's) and generate reports.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs to stay within budget and improve efficiency.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or challenges within the production team and work toward positive resolutions.
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and environmental standards.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the production team and motivate employees.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, safety measures, maintenance and employee performance.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing techniques and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or qualifications in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment is required.

Compensation range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
