Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled production worker to join our team for second shift. Located at our Mason City, Iowa facility, we mix and supply custom mixed rubber compounds to our US & international facilities as well as other large outside companies. You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient and timely production of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process (i.e. check weigh, extruder, minor station, batch off and cutter station).
• Follow production schedules and ensure tasks are completed within specified timelines.
• Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Package finished products according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment a plus.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent standing, sitting, walking reaching, handling and lifting (up to 40lbs.) and moving heavier items with appropriate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work second shift hours.
• Operate a forklift when needed.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm.
