Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing control panels used in various industrial applications. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical assembly, along with your proficiency in reading schematics and working with electro-mechanical components, will ensure the delivery of high-quality control panels that meet strict specifications. Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to ensure proper component placement and wiring.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement instruments to perform precise assembly tasks.
• Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology (SMT) techniques in accordance with IPC 610 standards.
• Install electro-mechanical components such as relays, contactors, switches, and sensors into control panels.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance assembly quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical panel building, electronics assembly, or related manufacturing roles.
• Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology (SMT).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring practices, schematics reading, and following blueprint specifications.
• Experience working with electro-mechanical components such as relays, contactors, sensors, and switches.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices.
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is preferred.
• Mechanical assembly skills including machining or mechanical knowledge are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in engineering troubleshooting of control systems.
• Ability to work safely with power tools and electrical equipment while maintaining high quality standards.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
