Duties
- Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery, including assembly lines, power tools, and hand tools, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Assist with the assembly of components using mechanical knowledge and precision techniques.
- Utilize warehouse experience to manage inventory, handle materials with forklifts, and ensure proper storage of parts and finished goods.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards and identify maintenance needs.
- Support the setup and breakdown of production lines for different manufacturing runs, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including logs for inbound/outbound materials and incident reports.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation.
- Strong understanding of assembly line processes and manufacturing workflows.
- Warehouse experience is preferred for handling materials efficiently.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
