Summary
As a Sales Associate, your #1 job is to drive Gross Profit by executing our sales playbook, running disciplined customer call blocks, and actively promoting the business. You’ll still handle service, e-Comm, and operations, but only after revenue-generating work is complete. You set the tone for the in-store experience, build a loyal client base, and model the standard for how customers remember our shop.

Duties
Sales, Service, Operations, and E-Commerce
Run the full sales process on every interaction; lead with e-bikes and present best>better>good with financing.
Attach value on every sale (add-ons, protection, apparel, essentials) and link to Service (Lifetime Flats, tune-ups, & Service plans).
Ask for reviews & referrals at the register and via text/phone.
Execute two 15-minute call blocks per shift (unsold quotes, test rides, online leads, service-ready pickups, past buyers); log everything in Ascend/Lead Lists the same day.
Serve as primary or secondary DRI for e-Comm tied to your store: monitor orders, send shipment notifications, pack/ship within 24 hours, and process returns/exchanges to SOP.
Cover the service counter as an advisor; write accurate work orders and utilize the inspection form to connect sales opportunities.
Perform basic repairs and bicycle assembly to standard with quality control and safety checks.
Support inventory tasks (receiving, transfers, cycle counts) to policy and on schedule.
Complete 2 training videos per day and 1 role-play per day; apply the week’s skill focus in your calls and floor work.
Participate in daily huddles; review your scorecard (GP, Avg Bike $, Add-Ons/Bike, Services %, NPS, Calls, Appointments) and commit to targets.
Maintain proficiency in Ascend and follow all SOPs (financing, quotes, notes, follow-ups, etc.).
Merchandise: keep sales floor stocked and conduct price audits to ensure accuracy.
Ensure on-hand accuracy and replenishment: restock fast-movers daily; zero out-of-stocks in feature areas.
Set and maintain promo/QR displays; keep the store clean, organized, and guest-ready always.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

This position requires open availability and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. Our season runs from November 1st through March 31st. To ensure that we meet our customers’ expectations during this busy time, we have implemented a vacation blackout period. Employees cannot schedule more than 3 days of PTO due to an expected increase in traffic. We understand that special circumstances may come up and we will do our best to accommodate our team.
