What You'll Do
- Recruit eligible young adults into the workforce program and help them begin their career journey.
- Build trusting, professional relationships with youth participants.
- Provide individualized case management, mentoring, and career coaching.
- Develop customized career and education plans based on participant strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Assist youth in accessing work experiences, internships, training programs, and supportive services.
- Collaborate with a small, supportive team to coordinate outreach, workshops, and youth engagement strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation, case notes, and progress tracking to meet program and grant requirements.
- Bring forward **innovative ideas** to enhance services and adapt to the changing needs of young adults.
- Travel within Wyoming County and parts of Susquehanna County as needed for outreach and participant meetings.
- Someone passionate about helping young adults succeed.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with paperwork, documentation, and data entry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a caseload independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in case management, youth services, or workforce development is **preferred** but not required.
- Familiarity with PA CareerLink® or WIOA programs is a plus.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and online platforms.
- Degree is **not required**, but a related degree or experience is **preferred**.
