About the Position:
The Lift Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of ski lifts at Treetops Resort. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a mechanical aptitude looking to start a career in the ski industry. You will perform routine inspections, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of all lifts. Experience is not required, willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all ski lift systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.

Adhere to all safety standards and guidelines as set forth by industry regulations and resort policies.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, documenting all inspections, repairs, and part replacements.

Collaborate with the team members to support efficient lift operations, especially during peak seasons.

Conduct pre-season preparation and post-season maintenance to ensure equipment readiness for the ski season.

Assist with lift evacuations or emergency repairs, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.

Assist in maintaining lift stations, loading areas, and surrounding equipment.

Stay current on industry best practices and advancements in lift maintenance technology.

Qualifications
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Mechanical aptitude, with basic knowledge of hand and power tools with a strong commitment to safety.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including snow, ice, and cold temperatures.

Ability to lift and carry equipment and work at heights.
