This is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Rapids, MI. The International Community Services role involves building relationships with diverse community members, organizing and facilitating outreach programs, and providing exceptional service to ensure a welcoming experience for all. This role includes working directly with individuals to meet their needs, developing initiatives to foster community integration, and collaborating with various stakeholders to build a more connected neighborhood.
- Proficiency in Community Service and Community Outreach to establish and maintain meaningful connections
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups
- Experience in Customer Service with a focus on fostering inclusivity and hospitality
- Ability to engage with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in coordinating events and programs
- Prior experience in nonprofit or community-focused organizations is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field preferred
