Position Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) provides individualized and group-based pediatric occupational therapy services to children ages 1–18. The OT will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic programs that enhance fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living skills—supporting each child’s ability to participate successfully at home, in school, and in the community.
This role is part-time (20 hours per week) and ideal for a compassionate, creative, and collaborative therapist passionate about early intervention and child development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, including standardized assessments and clinical observations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals in collaboration with families, teachers, and other specialists.
- Provide direct therapy to children in individual or small group sessions.
- Document progress, maintain treatment notes, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and case reviews as needed.
- Provide caregiver education, home activity recommendations, and follow-up support.
- Maintain compliance with all state, licensing, and organizational policies.

- Participate in professional development and maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications - REQUIRED!
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts OT License - IS A MUST!
- Experience working with children ages 1–18 in educational, outpatient, or early intervention settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, families, and team members
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Familiarity with sensory integration, fine motor interventions, and school-based supports
- Experience collaborating with teachers and caregivers in a childcare or educational setting
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling within center hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Employment Type: Part-time, with an opportunity to go Full-Time
